Sellers are responsible for ensuring product listings are accurate, clear, and not misleading.
Include complete information: title, description, price, images, size/weight, and delivery timelines.
Counterfeit, prohibited, expired, or unsafe items are strictly forbidden.
Shopy.lk reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove listings that violate our policies.
Sellers must process and ship orders within the agreed handling time.
Use reliable shipping methods and update tracking info when available.
Delayed or unfulfilled orders may result in penalties or suspension.
Sellers must honor Shopy.lk’s Return & Refund Policy.
If a customer returns an item due to damage, defect, or wrong delivery, the seller is responsible for replacing the item or issuing a refund.
Sellers may be required to cover return shipping costs in such cases.
Product pricing must be competitive and include applicable taxes.
Shopy.lk will collect payments from customers and release seller payouts on a regular schedule (e.g., weekly or bi-weekly), after deducting:
Platform commission
Transaction fees (if any)
Sellers must maintain an active bank account in Sri Lanka to receive payouts.
Sellers will be charged a commission based on product category.
Additional services like sponsored ads or premium placement may incur extra fees.
All fees will be clearly outlined in the Seller Dashboard.
Sellers must maintain high service standards, including:
Fast response times
Fulfilling orders on time
Maintaining product quality
Customer feedback and ratings will impact seller visibility and trust.
Sellers must not:
Sell counterfeit or unauthorized branded products
Manipulate reviews or ratings
List prohibited items (weapons, drugs, adult content, etc.)
Spam or mislead buyers
Use Shopy.lk data or branding without permission
Violations may result in warnings, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Shopy.lk reserves the right to terminate seller accounts without prior notice if:
There are repeated policy violations
Fraudulent or unethical practices are detected
Seller performance is consistently poor
Sellers must comply with all applicable Sri Lankan laws, including but not limited to:
Consumer Affairs Authority Act
Tax regulations (e.g., VAT/NBT)
Import/export laws (if applicable)
